Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- Add the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for approximately 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- Remove the muffins from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
