  • Method: Baking

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  4. Add the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  7. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for approximately 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  9. Remove the muffins from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, these delectable banana muffins with chocolate chips are ready to be devoured.
