- 1 Cup Unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 Cup Vegetable Shortening
- 4 Cups Powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
- ¼ Cup Whole Milk
Instructions
- Cream the butter and shortening in a large mixing bowl with a hand-mixer on medium speed until smooth, light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla and combine.
- Slowly add the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time and continue mixing until smooth, scraping down the bowl as needed. Continue until all the sugar is fully incorporated
- Slowly add in the milk, one tablespoon at a time, while mixing, until reaching the desired consistency.
