SIMPLE Halloween Puppy Chow

How to make Halloween Puppy Chow

Puppy chow originated somewhere in the Midwest, so the story goes.  It is a bunch of delicious ingredients hitting all 3 of the snack requirements by law – salty, sweet and crunchy.

It begins with a combination of Chex cereal, mini peanut butter cups or Reese’s pieces, candy corn and whatever else you think fits the mental image of Halloween puppy chow.

In a bowl goes.  It is then bound together by a gooey, melted peanut butter and chocolate bond and then aggressively coated in powdered sugar.

Apparently it’s inherited the name ‘puppy chow’ due to it’s close resemblance to puppy food.  Ew!  We get it.  But this is every man, woman and childs dream snack, so did give it a go!
