Ever have the Bloomin’ Onion at Outback? It’s this gorgeous onion that has been cut and into large slices and opened in the shape of a flower. Every ‘petal’ is battered and fried to a crispy perfection.
In the middle of this wide open onion is the sauce. The sauce IS the onion – it is what MAKES the onion.
Without it, well … let’s not say.
But here’s the thing. You don’t need to go to Outback. Heck, you don’t even need to make the Bloomin’ Onion, you can just make the sauce.
The sauce, friends goes with EVERYTHING. French fries, onion rings, top your burger with it, sandwiches, fritters, home fries, chicken, steak. You name it!!!
If you’ve got a few extra onions hanging around the house, you can find the recipe for The Bloomin’ Onion here.
