Hosting an Easter brunch can feel like a race against the clock, but it doesn’t have to be. By breaking your home into three intentional “zones,” you create a natural flow that allows guests to help themselves while you actually enjoy the morning. From a self-serve mimosa bar to a 15-minute veggie side that looks like a million bucks, this blueprint is designed to keep your Easter celebration simple, elegant, and entirely stress-free.
Zone 1: The “Sips & Snacks” Welcome Station
The best way to start any Easter brunch is with a station that looks incredible but requires zero “last-minute” cooking from the host. By grouping the drinks and the appetizers together, guests can help themselves the moment they walk through the door, leaving, you, the host free to actually enjoy the party.
The DIY Spring Mimosa Bar
Forget playing bartender! Set up a dedicated area with chilled carafes of orange, grapefruit, and pineapple juice alongside bottles of crisp Prosecco.

The “Showstopper” Easter Charcuterie
Center your Easter brunch table with a vibrant Easter Charcuterie Board. This is the ultimate grazing board full of cheeses, olives, hummus, fresh veggies, nuts and whatever else you think your guests would like.

The Crowd-Pleasing Classic
No Easter table is complete without a platter of Creamy Deviled Eggs.

Zone 2: The Main Event Carving Station
When it's time for the main course, the goal is “classic and comforting” without the host having to spend the entire morning hovering over the stove. This station is all about big flavors and easy assembly.
The Centerpiece: Simple Spiral Glazed Ham
A spiral ham is the ultimate hosting hack because it comes pre-sliced and ready to go. The secret here is our low-and-slow heating method, which ensures the meat stays juicy while the glaze creates that perfect, sugary crust. It looks like a million dollars on a platter but requires almost zero active work.

The Comfort: Simple Baked Macaroni and Cheese
Every great party needs a warm, cheesy side dish that appeals to both kids and adults. This macaroni and cheese can be prepped ahead of time and popped into the oven right alongside the ham. It provides that creamy, decadent balance to the salty-sweet glaze of the main event.

The Fresh Factor: 15-Minute Lemon Roasted Asparagus
To brighten up the plate, skip the heavy casseroles and go with this crisp, vibrant asparagus.
- The Prep: Tossed in olive oil, lemon zest, and a sprinkle of Parmesan right on the sheet pan.
- The Win: It roasts in just 15 minutes, giving you a pop of “spring green” that cuts right through the richness of the cheese and ham.

The Shortcut: Bakery-Fresh Brioche Rolls
Save your energy for the guests! Grab a few packs of high-quality brioche rolls from the bakery section of your local supermarket and place them in a bread basket covered in a fresh colorful towel alongside the ham.
Zone 3: The “Sweet & Springy” Dessert Display
After the savory main event, it's time to move the party over to the dessert display. We've designed this station to offer a perfect balance of rich comfort and bright, citrusy refreshment-without making you spend all day in the kitchen.
The Showstopper: SIMPLE Hummingbird Cake
This southern classic is the “King of Easter” cakes. Packed with banana, pineapple, and pecans, it's incredibly moist and topped with a decadent cream cheese frosting. It's a guaranteed crowd-pleaser that looks stunning on a cake stand.

The Refreshing Finish: SIMPLE Lemon Poppy Seed Cookies
For a lighter, citrus-forward option, these cookies are a dream. Topped with a vibrant lemon glaze, they provide a refreshing alternative for guests who prefer a zesty bite over a rich slice of cake.
The Perfect Pairing: Serve these alongside our Instant Pot Chai Latte. The warm, aromatic spices of the chai provide a balance to the bright, tart notes of the lemon.

The Stress-Free Easter Hosting Timeline:
2-3 Days Before:
- Grocery Shop: Secure the Spiral Ham, Prosecco, juices, etc.
- Station Check: Set out your platters, carafes for the Mimosa Bar, and your Easter table decor.
The Day Before (Saturday):
- The Dessert: Bake the Hummingbird Cake and the Lemon Poppy Seed Cookies. Glaze the cookies once cool and store them in an airtight container. Frost the cake and keep it chilled.
- The Sides: Assemble the Baked Macaroni and Cheese entirely-boil the pasta, make the sauce, and top with cheese. Cover it tightly with foil and put it in the fridge. Do not bake it yet. Wash and trim and asparagus. Store it in a bag with a damp paper towel in the fridge.
- Appetizer Prep: Hard-boil the eggs for the Deviled Eggs. Cut the meats and cheeses for the Easter Charcuterie Board and store them in containers.
Easter Morning:
- 9:00 AM: Take the Spiral Ham and the Mac and Cheese out of the fridge. Letting them sit on the counter for an hour ensures they heat through evenly in the oven.
- 10:00 AM (Zone 1 Setup): Set up the Sips & Snacks Station. Arrange the Charcuterie board and put the Prosecco on ice. Cut up any fresh fruit to serve with the mimosas.
- 10:15 AM: Put the Spiral Ham in the oven.
- 10:30 AM: Slide the Mac and Cheese (still covered in foil) into the oven alongside the ham.
- 11:15 AM: Toss the Lemon Asparagus on a sheet pan. Remove the foil from the Mac and Cheese so the top gets bubbly and golden.
- 11:30 AM: Put the Asparagus in the oven.
- 11:40 AM: Pull the Ham out to rest. Toss the foil-wrapped Brioche Rolls in the oven for the final 5 minutes.
- 11:45 AM: Pull the Mac and Cheese, Asparagus, and Rolls.
- 12:00 PM: Everything is hot, the host is relaxed, and brunch is served.
